Yala National Park is a dry semi-arid region and the best time to visit the National Park is the dry season from May to August. There is a variety of wild animals that you can spot in Yala National Park like the Sri Lankan elephant, bears, deer, leopards, crocodiles, and many birds.

Yala National Park is divided into 5 major parts and only one is opened to the public to conserve the wildlife. The Safari in Yala is a one to experience which gives you the chance to enjoy the grassy pains, lagoons along with the wildlife.

Yala National Park is situated in the Southeast part of Sri Lanka and is a 5-hour drive from Colombo to Yala. To get a remarkable experience it is better to stay overnight at the Yala National Park so there is enough time to enjoy.
