Sinharaja Rain Forest is known as the most important rainforest reserve of Sri Lanka, it was named as a UNESCO Heritage Site for its biodiversity and the density of animals and plants endemic to Sri Lanka.
You can see many animals with a close-up view and make sure that you join with a guide and take a pair of binoculars to spot the animals camouflaged in the forest.
The journey through Sinharaja Forest Reserve can be a bit challenging. Through the forest, you will be able to experience the most unique settings among thick greenery and hidden waterfalls.
Leeches are all around so make sure you wear leech socks to cover up your legs and wear comfortable shoes to take a long walk in the forest. When you walk make sure that you do not litter the place and follow instructions to preserve the wildlife.
